The IFS® VT / VR7800-2DRDT Series Data Transceiver / Data Transceiver / Data Transceiver uses advanced 8-bit digital coding and decoding for video transmission from high quality that exceeds the requirements of EIA RS-250C for medium-term video transmission.

These environmentally rugged devices provide transmission of eight independent video channels and two bidirectional data channels over an optical fiber. They are ideally suited for use in unconditioned roadside or off-site installations.

Completely transparent and universally compatible with all NTSC, PAL or SECAM video surveillance camera systems, all standard pan-tilt-zoom control signals, including RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 2 or 4-wire with Tri-state.

Plug-and-Play design ensures easy installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever needed. LEDs make it possible to quickly evaluate the operating status of the equipment.
Available in stand-alone configuration or rack configuration.
