The IFS® D1300 series data transceivers provide point-to-point transmission of half-duplex (2-wire) EIA RS-485 data signals over one or two optical fibers.

The transceivers are transparent for data coding, which allows extensive compatibility. When used as a line terminator, these modules are also compatible with the IFS D2300 drop and repeat data transceivers.

The models in this series are available for use with multimode or single mode fiber optics.
Plug-and-Play design ensures easy installation without the need for electrical or optical adjustments.
Each transceiver incorporates power and data status transmit / receive indicators for monitoring system operation. The modules are available in standalone or rack version.
