The ARF868 are next-generation radio modems that allow Half Duplex wireless data transmission up to 20km. These 500mW products are available in two versions:
• ARF868 ULR (Ultra Long Range) which allows up to 20km range.
• ARF868 LR (Long Range) which allows up to 7km range.
Operating on 863-870 MHz, these modems are certified and can be used without a license.
To ensure a quick and easy implementation, the ARF868 is equipped with a unique SubD9 connector that incorporates automatic recognition of the type (RS232 / RS485) and bit rate (Autobaud). An optional serial-USB bridge is also available.

In order to allow their use for very long distance applications or in disturbed environment while remaining usable without license, the ARF868 are equipped with a repeater function.
The ARF868 offers a Legacy mode for air compatibility with all radio modems in the Adeunis RF "X" 3-PRO range.
The small, lightweight and robust housing is equipped with a Rail-DIN bracket for immediate integration in industrial environments. For harsh environments requiring increased modem protection, IP53 and IP67 options are available.
