ePowerSwitch 1G is Neol's smallest Power Distribution Unit.
1 AC input with 10A and 1 AC outlet offer together with bulky configuration and control options, many possibilities of use.
ePowerSwitch 1G offers many possibilities of use for the control, administration and monitoring of any device. Flexible and comfortable configuration is possible via the integrated web server. With an optional mounting kit, you can mount one beside the other up to 4 ePowerSwitch in a rack.
Power Distribution
Each power outlet can be turned on, off and restarted via IP or an RS232 interface. This can be done via a web interface, a KVM switch, SNMP or any serial interface. They can be driven individually or as an individually created group. Switching on or off sequentially avoids charging peaks. The power outlets are equipped with extremely robust HiAmp relays. For switching, individual delays can be configured (1-255 seconds for restart, 1-3600 seconds for restarting).

Equipment monitoring
The connected devices are monitored using Ping or Scan by IP commands. During a crash, a message by trap SNMP, mail and Syslog is sent automatically. Monitored devices can be restarted using defined rules. Flexible and cost-effective solutions are possible with the ePowerSwitch 4 IEC for energy management of servers and other equipment. The areas of use are not limited to the IT environment.
Management
Configuration and tap management is done via the web server of the device using a web browser. AC outlets can also be controlled via a KVM switch or an RS232 terminal console.
Authentication
All devices use a single-use encrypted (nonce) value and a hash function so that usernames and passwords can not be rebuilt. Some models also offer fully encrypted communication (eg ePowerSwitch 8XM or VizioGuard).
User Accounts
The grouping of power outlets makes it possible to switch on or off a server with redundant mains power supply, or several devices with a command via a browser or SNMPConnection of the power outlets
The grouping of the power outlets makes it possible to control the supply of servers equipped with a redundant power supply or several electrical equipments by means of a single command via a browser or the SNMP protocol. The ePowerSwitch 4M + can also be used to create groups of several sockets distributed over several devices connected to its xBus interface.
Programmable rules
Up to 32 rules can be configured to control analog and digital inputs. In the event of an alert, different preprogrammed actions may be triggered, e.g. order power outlets and relay outputs, or send emails, SNMP traps and syslog messages.
Timer and scheduler
Thanks to the timer and scheduler functions, it is possible to control individual outlets or groups of outlets at regular intervals or at a specified day and time. These features also allow you to automatically send emails, SNMP traps and syslog messages. With an internet connection, you can also trigger actions on remote ePowerSwitch devices.
Denomination
A 32-character name can be freely assigned to all connected devices and sensors as well as to the device itself. This unique identification facilitates the programming of rules, groups and associated actions.
