Industrial touchscreen monitors have become an essential solution for professional environments where direct interaction with the interface is critical. At Allwan Security, several models of industrial displays are available with resistive or projected capacitive (PCAP) touch options, allowing them to adapt to the specific requirements of each application.
Resistive touch technology is particularly well-suited for harsh environments, where the screen needs to be operated with thick gloves, tools, or in high-humidity conditions. It provides reliable precision and excellent resistance to dust, moisture, and contaminants. On the other hand, projected capacitive technology offers a smoother and more responsive user experience—similar to consumer-grade touchscreens—while being designed to withstand vibrations, shocks, and extreme temperatures.
These industrial touchscreens are available in various sizes, ranging from 7 to 32 inches, with high-brightness panels for optimal readability even in outdoor or brightly lit environments. The touch interface is seamlessly integrated into the front panel, often protected by tempered glass or an anti-glare coating, depending on the model.
