The XCG-CG160 (black and white) and XCG-CG160C (color) cameras combine the best of Sony's technology in a user-friendly format, optimized for use in the industrial and non-industrial vision markets. The XCG-CG160C builds on industry-leading Sony Global Shutter CMOS sensor technology, combining the 1.6MP IMX273 sensor with SXGA resolution with a rich heritage of complete technologies, offering the best combination of performance and quality a reliable brand.
The XCG-CG160C incorporates the latest Pregius GSCMOS sensor, offering the best combination of resolution and custom frame for use in production and inspection environments where GigE Vision is the preferred architecture. The XCG-CG160C provides a simple migration path from a CCD to a GSCMOS without the need to upgrade or change architecture. The IMX273 shares sensor and pixel size characteristics comparable with the highly regarded Sony ICX445, but offers huge technological improvements in terms of sensitivity, dynamic range, noise reduction and rate capability. The XCG-CG160C has a resolution of 1456 (H) x 1088 (V) (effective pixels) at a rate of 70 fps and supports GigE Vision 1.2 / 2.0 with PoE capability to one cable.
