The CHEP range is a surveillance camera housing certified for ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 (gas) as well as Zone 21 and Zone 22 (dust).
It is ATEX, IECEx, UKCA, and EAC Ex certified.
Specifically designed for use in explosive atmospheres, it is made from a special Anticorodal aluminum alloy with heavy anodization. This ATEX camera housing offers exceptional corrosion resistance, thanks to an anodic oxidation treatment that effectively protects it against harsh environmental agents, salt mist, and industrial pollutants.
A reinforced stainless steel AISI 316L version, intended for particularly demanding environments such as underground mines, is also available on request (reference CHEP-SS).
Each CHEP ATEX camera housing comes standard with an integrated heater, allowing the front window to defog for optimal visibility. An optional sunshield can be added for extra protection against excessive heat and dirt.
The robust design of this explosion-proof camera housing ensures maximum protection from external agents while remaining easy to install and maintain.
