A motorized surveillance tool designed for field operations
The ARES is a compact motorized Pan-Tilt unit developed by Allwan Security to meet the requirements of security professionals, law enforcement agencies and special units. Designed for the most demanding environments, it offers full freedom of movement and remarkable positioning accuracy, all within a rugged IP67-certified housing.
Full angular coverage
Thanks to its continuous 360° Pan rotation with no cable limitation and its motorized Tilt of ±35°, the ARES covers its entire surroundings with no blind spots. The ideal solution for fixed perimeter surveillance, checkpoint control or deployment as an unattended device.
Precision and operational reliability
Equipped with stepper motors, the ARES achieves a positioning accuracy of 0.1°. Its speed is adjustable across 64 levels to adapt to any situation, from slow and discreet scanning to rapid repositioning. Its 20 programmable presets allow instant return to predefined strategic positions. The worm gear mechanism provides self-locking positioning, ensuring perfect stability even in harsh conditions.
Universal compatibility
The ARES integrates easily into existing installations. Compatible with ONVIF IP and analog cameras, it supports payloads of up to 2kg. Its Pelco-D protocol and RS485 communication make it a plug-and-play solution with most professional video surveillance systems.
Flexible field control
The ARES can be controlled according to operational constraints: wired RS485 for fixed installations, wireless 433MHz for rapid deployment, IP interface via joystick, or optional Pelco-D KBR66 wired remote control.
All-environment durability
Built from high-strength aluminum and POM, IP67 certified, the ARES operates reliably between -10°C and +55°C. Its compact format Ø130 × 130mm and 3kg weight make it easy to transport and rapidly deploy.
