The DF010NL has a compact design that allows installation in mini-dome camera housings. The lens offers a horizontal viewing angle of 93 ° at wide angle and an F / 1.2 aperture for monitoring in low light conditions. Remote control of the IR filter.
The DF010NL is a compact HD zoom lens with IR cut filter and Hall effect sensor iris.
The mini-dome cameras used Vari-Focal lenses which require manual zooming and focus adjustment. However, the need for more precise focus adjustment capability in Mega-Pixel class cameras increased the time and effort required during installation, creating a need for remote focusing. The number of outdoor installations of mini-dome cameras has also increased, which has resulted in an increased need for remote zoom functionality. Tamron has developed a compact 2 megapixel / Full HD / IR compatible zoom lens to meet these needs. This new product offers the convenience of a zoom lens in a size that fits the low-end mini-dome housing.
The DF010NL zoom and focus can be controlled remotely using precision stepper motors, enabling continuous zooming and auto focus functionality. The DC-iris is equipped with a Hall effect sensor, providing position feedback to allow precise control of the iris. The switching mechanism of the integrated IR filter can also be controlled remotely, allowing a smooth transition from day to night mode.
